Year 1 login

Parents/guardians use personal email on Access. Students usually do not get their own docs login.

This week

  1. Review season calendar.
  2. Read parent budgeting — fees vs donations.
  3. Complete waiver & media release (external form — status in private roster only).
  4. Note team communication channel from team_lead.

Checklist

  • [ ] Access to team calendar + fee FAQ when invited
  • [ ] Waiver and media release completed (external — no PDFs with minors in git)
  • [ ] Program fees vs tax-deductible donations understood — treasurer wording
  • [ ] Communication norms: email primary; group chat per team_lead policy
  • [ ] Optional: employer sponsorship — Sponsorship guide (personal networks)
  • [ ] Know adult vs student responsibilities — travel prep

Finance transparency

  • Parent budgeting SOP — named categories, monthly updates
  • Questions → treasurer@apexstem.org when live

Under-13 students

Default: parent logs into docs; no student Access until board policy exists.
